Obituary

Linda J. (Trenouth) Padula 76 of Franklin died January 24th at home surrounded by her loving family following a long illness. She was the wife of James “Banjo” Padula for the past 56 years.
Born in Boston, December 5, 1942 the daughter of the late William and Angelina (Dellelis) Trenouth. Linda was raised in Norfolk and had lived in Franklin since she was 14 years old. Linda was a graduate of Franklin High School class of 1960.
She was a hairdresser for over 50 years of her life where she owned and operated her own business Linda’s Beauty Corner. She recently retired from Hair Designs by Helene and Company.
Linda was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Franklin where she taught CCD and was a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She was also a member of the Martha and Mary’s prayer group.
Linda enjoyed life with her family and friends. She had great passion for singing and cooking great food for her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her children Lisa J. Carlucci of Franklin, James V. Padula of Bellingham, Michael A. Padula and his wife Kelley of Franklin, and John J. Padula of Franklin.
She is also survived by her siblings Carol Vella of Bolton, Ronald Trenouth and his companion Lois Durning of South Walpole, David Trenouth and his wife Jeanne of Mansfield, William Trenouth and his wife Pam of Franklin TN, and Jeanne Mucciarone and her husband David of South Walpole.
Linda is also survived by her 6 grandchildren Jackie Lattanzio, Thomas Padula, Krista Ludensky, Anthony Carlucci, Taylor Padula and Stefany Padula.
Also, her 6 great-grandchildren Jayce, Josh, Mia, Olivia, Alaina, and Joseph.
Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday January 30th from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main St. Franklin MA at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church at 10am. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday January 29th from 4pm-8pm.
The Family would like to thank all the friends and family who showed their love, support and prayers, during this hard time. They would also like to thank the Salmon VNA for their compassion, care and kindness to Linda, and to them, during this time.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Salmon VNA and Hospice 37 Birch St. Milford MA 01757.
