GALLAGHER Edmund Noel of Newton Corner, formerly of Natick, January 25, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth M. (Santospago) Gallagher for 60 years. Son of the late Thomas and Marion (Noel) Gallagher.
Edmund spent the last 40 years living in Natick and operated a home healthcare placement agency in Wellesley. In this younger years he lived in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School. Some of his enjoyments was playing tennis or golf and spending vacations on Cape Cod. He had an infectious way of making people laugh or smile and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Edmund is survived by his sister Dorothea Griffin formerly of Watertown.
He also leaves behind all his treasured nephews and nieces and all their children as they all looked at him as a big kid. Family and friends were extremely important to him.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 477 Washington St. Wellesley on Monday, January 28th from 8:45 - 9:45am. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
