Rand Vassar Elms passed away on Thursday morning surrounded by his loved ones.
Randy survived by his loving wife, Cheryl (Pires) of Brockton, daughter; Cayce (Elms), Erik Wegman and his little buddy Marcus of Easton and Son; Ryan Elms of Easton. Randy was the son of the late Doris Elms (Daley) of Stoughton, Brother; Francis Elms of Stoughton and Sister; Dolly Elms of Royal Palm Beach, FLA, Uncle; James Daley along with many nieces and nephews. Randy was a graduate of Oliver Ames HS, class of 1969 and went on to play football at Bridgeton Academy Prep School and Curry College. Randy was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, as well a loyal friend. Randy was an unbelievable athlete and most recently celebrated the Oliver Ames football team’s 50th anniversary of their 1968 Hocomock Football team’s Championship and reminisced with his coaches and teammates. Randy played Running Back and Free Safety. He will forever be in our hearts.
