FRANK G. BAILEY , age 84, a Hingham resident for the past 43 years, died on Friday, Dec. 24th at the Coyne Health Care Center in Rockland. Mr. Bailey was born and raised in Homestead, Pennsylvania. He attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and then graduated from Ohio State. During World War II, Mr. Bailey served in the U.S. Navy.
For many years he was an auditor and district manager in the Boston office of Nationwide Insurance of Columbus, Ohio. An avid cyclist, he often participated in the 'Bike Your Age' bike ride which raised thousands of dollars for the Jimmy Fund. He also enjoyed sailing and was a past member and treasurer of the Wessagussett Yacht Club in Weymouth.
Mr. Bailey leaves his wife, Elizabeth A. (Reilly) Bailey and son, Timothy G. Bailey both of Hingham. He was also the father of the late Susan Bailey-Krall and the late Stephen A. Bailey.
The funeral services and interment are to be private. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request.
