FALL RIVER – Jean (Tavares) Botelho, age 73 of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019. Born in Fall River, Jean was the wife of the late George Thomas Botelho and the daughter of the late Antone & Diana (Carvalho) Tavares.
Prior to retiring, Jean worked as a Home Health Aide, was a member of the Red Hat Society in Florida, and spending time with her family. Jean loved crocheting, especially newborn baby hats that she would donate to Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Jean was the mother to Scott Ferreira (wife Sharon) and the late Keith Ferreira; grandmother to Stephanie, Crystal, and Kayla; great grandmother of four; a sister, aunt, and friend.
Her funeral service will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River on Monday, JAN. 28th at 8:45 A.M. Jean will be interred with her husband in Massachusetts National Cemetery at 10:454 A.M. Calling hours on Sunday, JAN. 27th from 3-7 P.M.
