Mark A. Thompson, 53, of Enigma passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, at his residence. A private service and burial will be held for Mr. Thompson at a later date.
Born July 9m 1965 in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Thompson was the son of Robert Thompson and Ann Vasquez Thompson of Chicago, Illinois. He was retired and of the Baptist faith. He loved making people smile; loved music and collecting vintage toy cars.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Cindy Kay Hester Thompson of Enigma; two sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Leslie Lewis of Sylvester and Tim and Angela Taylor of Brookfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Shaun Greene of Thomasville and Angie and Jay Martin of Enigma; two sisters, Paul Red and Olga Thompson, both of Chicago, Illinois; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
