Sandra Lee Miles Maze, 74, of Tifton passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, at her residence. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Maze at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Ronnie Howell officiating. Mrs. Maze will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born May 9, 1944 in Metter, Mrs. Maze was the daughter of James David Miles of Tifton and the late Lula Mae Sowell Miles. She was also preceded in death by one brother, David Miles. She received her Master’s degree from Peabody and formerly worked at the ABAC Library. She was a member of Mount Calvary United Methodist Church in Tifton.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Maze is survived by her husband, Thomas David “Tom” Maze of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer Lynn and Jack Lockhart of Valdosta and Mary Elizabeth and Tony Simpson of Tifton; and three grandchildren, Brenya Lockhart, Laeken Jewell and husband Nick, and Haley Simpson.
