Sybil Adelaide (Gilliam) Cheatham, 98, of Anderson, passed peacefully at home January 21, 2019.
She was born in Okemah, Oklahoma, to Robert and Netty Pearl (Webster) Gilliam.
She worked in the Canteen at Delco Remy and as a beautician at home.
She attended East Side Church of God. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Survivors include her sister, Ann Craig of California, three grandchildren, Julia Gay Smith, Dana Bishop and Kelly Bishop; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Sybil was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cheatham in 1993, three daughters, Glenda Bell, Deanna Bishop and JoVeda Flatt; grandchildren, Samuel Jason Flatt, Curry Bell and Tracy Bell; a brother and four sisters.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Kerry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
