Jean Paul Bouchard, 84, of Bedford, N.H, died peacefully on Saturday January 19, 2019, at Carlyle Place, his home for the past year. He was born in Frenchville, Maine on June 21, 1934, the son of Joseph and Anna (Deschenes) Bouchard.
After losing his parents at a young age, Jean was raised by his older sister Lilly and his brother in-law, Romeo Roy.
After high school, Jean enlisted in the United States Army and was called to active duty towards the end of the Korean conflict. He shared many stories and photos of his time spent in Korea and Japan.
He met Joanne Perron and they were married on August 5, 1961 in Manchester, where they resided for over 44 years. Jean moved to Hooksett, N.H. in 2006 and lived there for over 11 years before moving to Carlyle Place.
Jean worked as a machinist for the Improved Machinery (IMPCO) division of Ingersoll-Rand in Nashua, N.H. for over 33 years before retiring in 1994.

Once he retired, he would spend most of his time tinkering in his workshop or garage, always building or fixing something around the house. He spent a lot of time at the family camp where he would ride ATV’s and snowmobiles and most of all enjoy good times with family and friends.
