Gladys I. Cinelli 91

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Gladys I. (Andrews) Cinelli, age 91, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Wingate at Norton. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Cinelli, who died on December 19, 1993.

Born in Mansfield, MA on April 19, 1927, she was a loving daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Innes) Andrews.

Gladys grew up in Mansfield and was a 1945 graduate of Mansfield High School. She was a devoted homemaker to her adoring family and had also worked at Boston Scientific in Mansfield, as a baker in cafeteria at the Qualters Middle School in Mansfield and the former Sannie’s Clothing Store in Mansfield.

"Glady" was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mansfield. She loved spending time with family and friends, was a former member of the Puddle Ducks Walking Club in Mansfield and enjoyed bowling and spending time at the Mansfield Council on Aging.

She is survived by her devoted sons: Robert A. Cinelli and his wife Pamela of Norton and Richard M. Cinelli of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Ryan R. Cinelli and his wife Christine, Erin M. Murray and her husband Brian, Justin R. Cinelli and his wife Crystal and the great grandmother of Connor and Benjamin Murray. She was the dear sister of Clinton Andrews of Connecticut and the late Harry Andrews, Anne Monty and Virginia Fisher. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday, January 24th at 11:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church, 52 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will be held privately at a later date at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers, Gladys’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the First Baptist Church, 52 North Main St., Mansfield, MA 02048.
