Obituary

Gail E. Jolin, 72, of Chester, NH, passed away Saturday January 12, 2019 in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Queens, NY on November 1, 1946, a daughter of the late Robert and Vivian (Rounds) Mackay. She had been a resident of Chester for the past 20 years, formerly living in Manchester, NH and Londonderry, NH. Gail worked as a Special Education Aide at Pinkerton Academy in Derry. During the 1980’s, she was a Londonderry Panthers Cheerleader Coach. She was very active and loved going to the beach, traveling, going on cruises and spending time at their Florida home. Gail was a volunteer for the 2012 and 2016 Democratic Presidential Campaigns. She greeted everyone with a smile. Her biggest joy was her family and the time they spent together.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ronald E. Jolin of Chester; her three children, Mark R. Mastroberte and his wife Susan of Windham, NH, Regina A. Rivard and her husband Michael of Bedford, NH, and Jonathan S. Jolin and his wife Stephanie of Lebanon, NH; five grandchildren, Samantha Mastroberte, Jillian Mastroberte, Tyler Rivard, Marceline Jolin, and Jameson Jolin; and one brother, Kenneth Mackay. She was predeceased by a brother, Scott Mackay.

Calling hours were held on Friday January 18th from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:00pm in the Manchester Christian Church, 56 Old Bedford Rd, Bedford, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MDS Foundation, 4573 South Broad St., Suite 150, Yardville, NJ 08620.
