Drewan C. Pearson, 47

Drewan C. “Drew” Pearson, age 47, of Mansfield, formerly of North Attleboro and Brockton passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at home on Thursday, January 10, 2019.

Born in Boston, MA on May 29, 1971, he was a loving son of Linda (Thompson) Pearson of Taunton and the late Samuel Pearson, Jr.

Drew grew up in Brockton, was educated in Brockton Public Schools and was a 1989 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational High School in Easton. He furthered his education, graduating from Boston University with an associate degree in Information Technology.

A resident of Mansfield for the past four years, Drew had been employed as an Information Technology Analyst for JetBlue Airlines at Logan Airport in Boston. he had previously worked as a Information Technology Manager at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Drew loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing golf and was a true car enthusiast. He was a big football fan, the Dallas Cowboys being his favorite team to cheer for and had also played semi-pro football for the Eastern Football League. He will always be remembered for his exceptional culinary skills and the meticulous manner and strong working ethics in which he lived his life.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted sons: Alexander J. Pearson of Tampa, Florida and Aaron D. Pearson of Middleboro. He was the dear brother of Samuel Pearson, III of Boston, Seth Pearson and his wife Nina of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Joshua B. Pearson and his wife Monique of Houston, Texas and Jeffenor J. Pearson of Brockton. He is also survived by his former wife Nancy P. Bouve of Middleboro, as well as his adoring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, January 17th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. with reflections of his life at 7:30 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will be private.
