Obituary

Alma Potvin, 96, of North Providence, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She was the widow of Armand C. Potvin. They had been married for 58 years before his death in 2010.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Amanda (Pelletier) Grandchamp.
Alma is survived by her brother, Leo W. Grandchamp, her nieces: Joyce Girasole and Gail Calandrelli, her nephew, Edward Kaye and his wife, Carolyn. She was the sister of the late Irene Kaye.
She was employed by Garland Industries and Vargas Manufacturing until her retirement.
Alma enjoyed spending summers at her home on Stump Pond. She was was an avid crocheter, making many afghans for her family.
Her funeral will be Saturday at 9am from Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Mary Mother of Mankind, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Please omit flowers. For messages of condolence please visit andersonwinfield.net
