Chester A. Chase, Jr., 81, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the husband of the late Phyllis (Parenteau) Chase.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Chester A. and Alice (Beatty) Chase. He had worked at The Hartford before his retirement. He was an AirForce Veteran.
He is survived by his children: Chet Chase of Alameda, CA, Cathy Guerin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Michael Parenteau of Smithfield, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren, as well as his sister, Patricia Ferguson of Burrillville. He was the brother of the late Virginia Carr and Alice Gardiner.
His funeral service will be held Friday at 10am in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial with military honors will follow in Highland Park, Johnston.
