Obituary

Olga ( Kyryluk) Monahan, 84, of Plymouth, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully, on Monday January 7th, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late John “Moe” Monahan.

She was born in Canada, daughter of the late Frederick and Julia (Onuska) Kyryluk.

She moved to South Boston in 1961, then to Brockton in 1966, where she worked for the Brockton School System as a School Bus Driver and a Cafeteria worker for many years.

She enjoyed, bingo, crossword puzzles, cooking and hosting weekly cookouts where all were invited. She was an avid Bruins and Red Sox fan.

She leaves behinds, her 4 sons, John and his wife Susan of RI, Garry and his wife Denise of Kingston, Joe and his wife Janice of East Bridgewater and Robbie and his wife Jen of Plymouth, her grandchildren, Kristy, John, Joe, Mike, Garry, Ryan, Maeve and Ronan, her great grandchildren, Brianna and Keylia and her beloved Pomeranian Tiffany: also her brother William and her late brothers Morris and Roman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday January 11th from 4:00-7:00PM followed by a funeral service at 7:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. ( Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will be at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452. www.alzmass.org
