BUXTON- Michael Allen Ward, age 55, passed away on Jan. 4, 2019 at his home in Buxton, surrounded by family.
He was born in Sanford on Nov. 24, 1963, a son of Tim Ward and Connie Reed.
After attending Sacopee Valley High School, Michael went on to serve four years in the US Navy. After his honorable discharge, he worked for Dale Metcalf Logging and was a groundskeeper for Chocorua Campround in NH.
He enjoyed helping with the Joe Skehan Youth Ice Fishing Derby at Ossipee Lake in NH.
Michael is survived by his daughter- Amanda Ward of Buxton; his father- Tim Ward and his wife Anne of Ossipee, NH; mother- Connie Reed and her husband Tom of Standish; brother-Brian Ward and his wife Pam of Hollis; and grandchildren- Ella, Jackson, and Logan.
At Michael’s request, there will be services amongst his family at a later date.
