Mary (Mullins) Bruce, 79, of New Bedford died Wednesday December 21, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of William J. Bruce.
Born in Fox Harbour, Newfoundland, the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen (Griffin) Mullins, she had lived in New Bedford since 1945.
She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Thomas Bruce of Rochester, Stephen Bruce of East Bridgewater, and Kevin Bruce of Marstons Mills; a daughter, Kathleen Hawk of New Bedford; a brother, Peter Mullins of Placentia, Newfoundland; two sisters, Rebecca Murray of Fox Harbour, and Nora Rose of Renews, Newfoundland; three grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Sara Sparrow and Bridget Murray.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Saturday, December 24th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday, December 23rd from 4-8 PM.
Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
