Obituary

Angelina (Marguerite) Cook 96, of Plainville, died peacefully, Wednesday January 2, 2019 at the Madonna Manor Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in North Attleboro, following an illness. She was the wife of the late Donald Cook.

Born October 31, 1922 in Franklin, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Angelina (Faenza) Marguerite, she was a former resident of Franklin until moving to Plainville many years ago.

She was raised and educated in Franklin, was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked as an assembler for the Whiting & Davis Company.

Angelina enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

She is survived by her stepchildren, 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Angelina was the sister of the late Emma Young, Alice Braga, Rose Davis, Edith Sabbag, Anthony, Louis and Michael Marguerite.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Saturday Jan. 5, 2019 in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 11AM.

Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

Calling hours are Saturday morning at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9-10:30AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Boston Children’s Hospital Trust 401 Park Drive, Suite 602 Boston, MA 02215.
