Obituary

WEST SPRINGFIELD ~ Itill H.W. Wiggins, 42, of West Springfield, was Called Home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. He passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by all of the memories that he loved and cherished. He was born in the Bronx, New York on January 15, 1976, the beloved son of Itill A. Wiggins of Springfield and the late Luba M. (Wankewicz) Wiggins who was Called Home on March 31, 2013. He was raised in Springfield and had lived there most of his life before moving to West Springfield in 2015. Itill had worked in various food and beverage services companies locally. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool with his friends and playing basketball with his father and his sons. He also loved watching football and was a diehard New York Giants fan. Itill had a heart of gold and made friends wherever he went. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and many friends. In addition to his beloved father, he leaves his beloved step mother, Lydia E. Colon of Springfield; his four cherished children, Itill H.W. Wiggins, Jr. and Jah’nae Wiggins and their mother, Jacqueline M. Espinal of Springfield and Devin M. Wiggins and Colin R. Wiggins and their mother, Kimberly A. Kaboray of West Springfield; his dear sister, Nina Ware of Springfield; his three dear nieces, Amber Wiggins, Deja Ware and Taylor Mason; and his many dear cousins, extended family members and numerous friends. In addition to his beloved mother, he was also predeceased by his dear sister, Jennifer L. Wiggins who was Called Home on February 13, 2003. Family and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.). His Burial will follow the Prayer Service at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield, MA 01129. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in Itill’s memory for the benefit of his children in care of his father, Itill A. Wiggins.
