Obituary

Mary L. (Manning) Wilson, of Fairhaven, formerly of New Bedford, died Tuesday December 20, 2005 at Alden Court Nursing Home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late James Wilson.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Timothy and Annie (Barry) Manning, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life. She was a graduate of Holy Family High School and Kinyon Business School.

She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.

Mrs. Wilson was formerly employed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a clerk in the Department of Public Welfare office in New Bedford until her retirement.

Survivors include a daughter, Anne Desrosiers and her husband Albert of Assonet; two sisters, Margaret Baron of Acushnet and Helen Koska of New Bedford; two grandchildren, Nicole Desrosiers and Lynn Desrosiers; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Catherine Wilson and Anna Moreau.

Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday December 23, 2005 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Thursday December 22, 2005 from 3-7 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
