Obituary

Patricia A. Porrazzo, age 82, passed away December 19, 2018, at the Winchester Hospital from cardiac arrest. Beloved wife of the late David F. Porrazzo. Born in Darragh, PA on April 3, 1936 she was the cherrished daughter of Anna May (Zowanda) and Robert Testa.

"Patti", as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, is lovingly survived by her devoted daughter; Deneen Porrrazzo and like a "son" to her, William Riley of Woburn.

Patti loved working, cooking, landscaping, dogs, watching murder mysteries, talent shows and mostly helping others solve their problems. She was an extremely compassionate person who cared for many. Patti took care of her daughter when she had a horseback riding accident and broke her neck at age 16. Caring for her day and night at the hospital in Harlem, New York.

Patti also took in both her husband's parents at an elderly age to care for them so they wouldn't have to be placed in nursing homes. She also took in a homeless man giving room and board in exchange for work in her business.
Patti cared for her late husband who died from a rare kidney disease and was on dialysis three times a week. She cared for him when his kidney transplant failed and until his very last breath. She moved back to PA and cared for her baby brother who was dying of stage four prostate cancer and also cared for her elderly mother until she passed at the age of 95. Patti had to overcome many hardships in her life and still had the desire to help others.

She and her late husband were in show business for many years. Patti was a show-jazz singer and her husband David a jazz guitarist. They traveled the country performing in night clubs as the starring act. Often referred to as the "Blonde Sonny & Cher". Later they owned and operated a music store in Danvers for 20 years at the same time opened a limousine service "Hollywood Limousine" in 1974 which she operated herself after her husband passed away until 2014.

Patti was truly a wonderful compassionate human being, loving wife and amazing Mom a "Wonder Woman" of sorts. She took pride in her appearance continuously mistaken for a woman thirty years younger. Doctors, nurses and countless people were shocked and amazed she was eighty-two years old. Mom died with her stunning waist length long blond "Barbie Doll" hair that she received many compliments on a daily basis..

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 27th, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements by the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Family Funeral Service of Woburn
