Vivian McAllister Pearman, 75, of Chula passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Dan Eidson officiating. Mrs. Pearman will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2018, from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Dennis McAllister, Dean McAllister, Chance McAllister, Walter Pearman, Farrell Roberts and Russ Griffin will serve as pallbearers.
Born August 30, 1943, Mrs. Pearman was the daughter of the late Elvin Curtis McAllister, Sr. and Veda McMillan McAllister. She retired from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College after 35 years; and last served as secretary to the President’s Office for 17 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chula.
Mrs. Pearman is survived by her husband, Grady Everett Pearman of Chula; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Amy Pearman of Apex, North Carolina and their children, Bryce Pearman and Natalie Pearman; and Brent and Lori Pearman of Tifton and their children, Marisa Pearman and Rylan Pearman; and one brother and sister-in-law, Elvin Jr. and Mary McAllister of Tifton.
