BUXTON -John L. Trott (Jackie), 80 years old, died in his home at The Inn At Village Square, Gorham, Maine on December 20th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. After a long battle he's at peace. To all of his “family” at The Inn a special thank you for all they did as well as the Hospice people.
Jackie was born in Portland, Maine on June 8th, 1938. Loving son of John Trott and Anne and Robert O'Haire.
Jackie graduated from Samuel D. Hanson High School in Buxton, then joined the U.S. Air Force. After discharge he worked at Burnham & Morrill for a few years. He then went to work at S.D.Warren in Westbrook until his retirement.
Jackie loved fishing and hunting and camping and hanging out with his friends and family.
Jackie was predeceased by his parents, sister Joyce Briggs and husband Howard, sister Corinne Miner and husband George, sister Lillian Turcotte and her son Paul, sister Mildred Mowatt and sister Barbara Smith and husband Charles.
He is survived by his sister Sandra Dumbrocyo and husband Richard, of Standish, Maine and sister Beverly Marquis and husband Wayne of The Villages, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the North Congregational Church Hall, 22 Church Hill Road, Buxton on December 29, 2018 from 11:00 a,m, to 2:00p.m. There will be a private family burial in the Spring.
