Obituary

SALEM- Franklin M. “Frank” Robblee, age 70, beloved husband of Kathleen (Evans) Robblee, of Salem, died Sunday evening, December 18, 2005, at the Salem Hospital after being stricken at his home.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Perry W. and Florence K. (Bower) Robblee.

A Navy veteran of The Korean Conflict, he served aboard the USS Wren and attained the rating of BT-3.

Prior to his retirement in 2003, Mr. Robblee was employed as a District Manager in the Boiler Machinery Division of Royal & Sons Alliance Insurance Company of Boston. He was previously employed in the same capacity for Travelers Insurance, also of Boston.

A resident of Salem for most of his life, Frank was a graduate of Salem High School in 1954 and was a member of the Y.M.C.A.

Besides his wife, Kathleen, he is survived by 2 sons, John Robblee of North Haven, CT, Christopher Robblee & Denise Smith of Blackfoot, Idaho one grandchild, Sage Smith of Blackfoot, Idaho, one brother, David Robblee of Cheyenne, Wyoming, one step daughter, Kristen & her husband Matthew Fusco of Hamilton, one step-son, Sean and his wife Carrie Killeen of Marblehead, three step-grandchildren, Julia Fusco and Audrey Fusco, both of Hamilton, Ethan Killeen of Marblehead and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 10 am in the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Visiting hours are Wednesday, 4 to 8 pm.
