Marion was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Pawtucket, RI.
Marion was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Brown University and The United States Post Office,Providence,RI.
Marion was a member of the choir at Saint Maria Goretti's Church in Pawtucket, RI. and Saint Anthony's Church in North Providence,RI.
Marion and her husband Stanley enjoyed travelling to Walt Disney World where their daughter Katherine and her husband Steven and grandchildren Michael and Brian joined them for many years during February school vacations.
Marion also looked forward to the family cookouts that her son James would host at his home .
Marion enjoyed a good poker game, bingo and occasional trips to the casino.
" She loved many and was loved by many". Simply a good,wise and gentle woman her whole life.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. NEEDHAM on Friday, December 21st at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday, December 20th from 3-7pm. Interment private.
