In Berkley, December 14, 2018 Lorraine F. (Benjamin) Poole, age 93 passed peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born and educated in Taunton, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Plata) Benjamin. She took much pride in her vegetable garden and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, summers on Cape Cod, winters in Florida and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Whenever Lorraine found out there was Bingo she went off and running. Lorraine was the mother of Richard Poole and his wife Barbara, Carol A. Waddell, Stanley Poole Jr. and his wife Robin, Debra Gallagher and her husband John and the late Robert “Butchie” Poole. Grandmother of Michelle, Nikki, Johnny, Lisa, Tammy, Ryan and Kim. Great Grandmother of Scott, Greyson, Owen, Nickolas, Logan, Amanda, Michael and Ricky. Sister of Mary Walker, Theodore Benjamin and the late George Benjamin, Cecelia Perra, Charlotte Johnson and Charles Benjamin Jr.. Aunt of twenty nine nieces, nephews and cousin of Ann Wilcox. A special thanks to Ally, Brooke, Brent and Cheryl for all of the special care they gave to Lorraine. A Mass will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church, 19 Kilmer Ave in Taunton on Wednesday, December 19th at 11 am. Interment will be private.
