Robert M. Letty, of Lynn, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 12th, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born in Boston on May 21, 1947 to the late Dr. Domenic and Constance Letty of Winchester.
Bob attended New York Military Academy. He graduated from Winchester High School and the University of Maine located in Orono, Maine. Bob worked as a bartender for many years at the 99 Restaurant, retiring from their Lynnfield restaurant in 2009.
Bob's greatest love was his wife Beverly (Johnson) Letty. They had a special love for each other and never stopped being each other's best friend and soulmate. Bob also leaves his two Pomeranians, Dakota and Lucky.
Bob is also survived by his brother Donald Letty of Wakefield, and Clifford Letty and his wife Jane of Reading, his cousin Richard Letty of Malden, and Diane Peterson of Billerica. Bob also leaves his sister-in-law Phyllis Johnson of Peabody, who helped care for him during his illness.
Bob loved golf and spent many years as a member of Bear Hill Golf Club in Stoneham. He also was a past Exalted Ruler at the Winchester Elks, where he is still a member.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, December 18th from 4 to 8 PM, at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Funeral services and burial will be private.
