Heidi Marie Trundy, 61, of New Bedford passed away Sunday December 9, 2018 after succumblng to lifelong medical conditions that she bravely fought her entire life. She was the beloved daughter of the late Marianne Theresa (Price) Trundy and Arthur Benson Trundy III.
Heidi is survived by her devoted husband, Americo "Rico" Barboza; her loving daughter, Jolene Amaro; her precious granddaughter, Nevaeh Amaro; nine heartbroken siblings, Lynn, Kevin, Arthur IV, Christopher, Bridget, Erica, Gretchen, Ingrid, and Marianne "Pokey", as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Heidi was formerly employed as a caregiver to children and adults with disabilities.
Throughout her life, she was the most kind, generous, and fun person that you could ever have the great privilege to know. Heidi was dedicated to her family and friends. Her friendships throughout the country are lifelong and innumerable. She would often give to a friend even when it caused her to go without. She is deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure. For scaydee-eight years and the whole nine yards Heidi, and yes ... we saw you.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday December 17, 2018 at 12 Noon at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be on Monday from 11AM-12 Noon prior to the service. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
