THOMPSON – Leonard W. Streich, Jr., 52, of 177 Sand Dam Road, died Saturday, Dec. 17, at Hubbard Regional Hospital after being stricken ill at home.
He leaves his wife, Sharon L. (Dragon) Streich and 2 sons, Leonard W. Streich, III, and Eric A.
Streich, both of Thompson.
He was born in Webster and raised in Thompson, the son of Leonard W. and Lorraine (Radziewicz)
Streich, Sr. He graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in North Grosvenordale, and completed the course of study at Thames Valley Technical School in Norwich.
Mr. Streich was working at Supercon in Shrewsbury, MA at the time of his death.
He was a member and past master of Cornerstone-Quinebaug #122 Lodge of Masons. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was presently the assistant scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop #66 in Thompson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, Dec. 22, in Mount Zion Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:30 PM Wednesday, Dec. 21, in Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main St., Webster, MA
