Wilburn Wiley, 75, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, December 9, 2018, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Thursday, December 13, 2018, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Pastor Scott Davidson and Brother Joe Nelms officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening, from 5 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home.
Mr. Wiley was born August 15, 1943, in Savannah, Georgia, to the late Noah & Ruth Reynolds Wiley. He lived in the community all of his life and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Mr. Wiley was a repairman for GTE for 14 years and was Principal at King of Kings Christian School. He loved to preach, fish and camp with his wife. He was an evangelist and Minister and had served as pastor of Liberty Emmanuel Holiness Church of Jesus Christ for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Charlene Wiley of Fitzgerald; son, Wayne Lee Wiley & Darlamae of Fitzgerald and grandchildren: Wanda Marie Wiley, Mariah Nicole Wiley, Sarah Leann Wiley and Wayne Lee Wiley, Jr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Wanda Lisa Wiley.
