Obituary

Lucille L. "Lou" Demers, 68, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at home with her family surrounding her, from a long time illness. Lou as she was known, was born in Goffstown, NH on December 28, 1936, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Yvette (Halde) Fortin. She was a resident of Londonderry for the past 16 years, formerly living in Lawrence, MA. She had been employed as a mill worker for Malden Mills. Lou enjoyed crocheting, camping, and spending holidays with her family and time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond J. Demers of Londonderry, five daughters: Donna, Deb, Lisa, Charlene, and Holeen, two sons: Ray, and Konrad, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and three sisters. She was predeceased by her daughter, Gail, and two brothers.
There were no calling hours. Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 10:00 AM in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH handled the arrangements.
