Mrs. Sheila (French) Barry, a life long resident of Medford and beloved wife of Richard H. Barry, passed away on Saturday evening, December 8, 2018. She was 86 years old.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts, on December 12, 1931, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Alice (Callahan) French. Mrs. Barry was a graduate of Medford High School. She was a life long member of the Community Baptist Church of Medford. In her spare time, Sheila enjoyed baking and gardening around her home. Above all, Sheila was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Besides her beloved husband, Richard, she is survived by her loving sons and daughter-in-law; Bruce D. Barry of South Lancaster and Keith R. and his wife Karin M. Barry of Amesbury, grandchildren; Katie, Kerrie, Kloe, Dana and Jay, great-grandchildren; Evan and Sedona and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Community Baptist Church, 470 Fulton Street, Medford on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be held in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Collation will held at the church, following interment.
