Obituary

Hanson – Anthony C. Eosue, also known as Bud or Buddy, 85 years of age, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday December 8, 2018. He had lived in the Monponsett section of Hanson for forty-two years.

Born in 1933 in Braintree, he was the son of Michael and Ernestine (Damon) Eosue and was a graduate Braintree High School, Class of 1951.

He spent his working years as a woodworker in various shops in the Boston and South Shore area, the last being August Interiors of East Bridgewater.

He always had a great love and a great talent for working with wood. After retiring he spent most of his free time carving birds, especially Eagles.

He served in the United States Navy for five years, the first three years in the reserves and two years on active duty, stationed mostly in San Diego, CA. His ship made several trips to the Arctic taking supplies up for the DEW Line.

After his discharge from the Navy, Mr. Eosue was married for sixty-two years to Frances (Bond) Eosue. They were blessed with four wonderful children of whom he was very proud, Michael, Lisa, Kathryn and David. He had four grandchildren of whom he was also very proud. He had two sisters Jean Amuzzini of Deerfield, NH and Grace Johnson of Boxford, MA.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday December 13 at 12:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:00AM - 12:00PM.
