Eran Dantzler Grant Hall, “Ginger”, died Monday, December 3, 2018 at home in Carmel, IN. She was born May 10, 1936 to William Jesse Grant Jr. and Mary Griffin Dantzler Grant in Biloxi, MS. She grew up walking the beaches and sailing the Mississippi Sound and always considered that her home. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO for one year where she met her husband, Wendell Keith Hall of McLeansboro, IL. They were married August 12, 1954 and moved to Anderson IN where he worked for Guide Lamp Division of GM.
She was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church, Anderson and active in Presbyterian Women serving in a variety of roles including treasurer. She was a charter member and volunteer for the Kidney Foundation of Indiana. She served the organization in leadership, education and promotion roles. She was an avid gardener and member of the Seed Swoppers of Indiana.
For the last years of her life she resided at Sunrise on Old Meridian in Carmel where she was a vibrant leader and fixture in the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, older sister Susan Dunkle, husband Wendell and son Michael Keith Hall.
She is survived by her sister Mary Haise of Tigard, OR; son William Hall (Vicki) Rockford, MI, daughter Eran McCarty (Scott) Fortville, IN; daughter-in-law Barbara Hall, Sonoma, CA; Grandsons Major Zachary McCarty USAF (Lauren) Dayton, OH; Andrew Hall, Kentwood, MI; Abram McCarty Indianapolis, IN; Sean Hall Sonoma, CA; Griffin Hall Rockford, MI; granddaughter Elizabeth McCarty Navarro (Jose) Greenfield, IN; great grandchildren Isabella, Ana, Lucas and Quinn Navarro, and several nephews.
Visitation Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service Anderson, December 12, 1-3 PM followed by a memorial service. Internment at East Maplewood Cemetery a private family gathering at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
