Bertha E. (Schulder) Fuller, age 99, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Dec 2, 2018. She was born in Springfield on Jan 15, 1919 to the late Max and Hermina (Bender) Schulder. Bertha was a communicant of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish. She worked at American Bosch in the shipping office for many years before retiring. She was also a member of the American Bosch Traveling Club. Bertha was predeceased by her first husband James Moriarty; her son, James Moriarty who passed away in 2007; one sister Frieda Lukert and her second husband Vincent Fuller who passed away in 2007. She leaves one daughter Maureen Houghton and her husband Brian of Chicopee; three grandchildren Christine Haley, Brian Houghton and Michael Houghton and four great grandchildren, Samuel, Brittany, Nathaniel and Alex. A Funeral Service will be held at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam on Fri, Dec 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. Donations may be made in Bertha’s name to the Springfield Council on Aging c/o Meals on Wheels 1600 E. Columbus Ave. Springfield, MA 01103.
