Mrs. Gloria M. (Valcourt) Jerome, 86, of Methuen, passed away on Sunday, December 2nd at Lawrence General Hospital. The daughter of the late Alphonse and Rose (Guay) Valcourt she was born in Methuen and had been an area resident all her life. Mrs. Jerome retired from Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen where she worked as a nurse. Mrs. Jerome enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, Foxwoods and Hawaii but most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She is the widow of Alphey Jerome, and was also pre-deceased by her brother Gerard Valcourt of Canada. Mrs. Jerome is survived by three daughters; Kathleen Jerome of Methuen, Ann Marie Mott of Jacksonville, FL, Paula and her husband Timothy Henrick of Methuen, three sons; Paul Jerome of Danville, NH, Jay “John” Jerome of Methuen, Raymond Jerome of Lebanon, ME. There are fourteen Grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd. Dracut, MA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. Monica Church, burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
