Joseph Peters passed away on Saturday November 24, 2018 at Seashore Point Wellness Center in Provincetown Mass.
He was born in Lawrence Massachusetts on October 7, 1936, the youngest child of the late Albert G and Laura (Fascione) Peters. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, George A Peters, Sr.
Survived by sister in Law, Dorothy Peters, nephew George A. Peters Jr, wife Joanne, nieces Laura Lee (Peters) Loftus husband John, Susanne (Peters) Valliere husband William. Cousins Phyllis Tyler, Mary Pica, David Solomon, Henry Solomon. longtime friend, Joseph Yungk.
Joe was a great storyteller, and loved the history of his birth place Lawrence MA and his home of 45 plus years, Provincetown, MA. Always stylishly dressed, sporting a neatly trimmed full beard and his signature ponytail. Joe was a very private man and liked to keep his thoughts and feeling to himself. He loved keeping everyone guessing as what was to come next. He lived every day of his life on his own terms and had no regrets when he entered the gates of Heaven into the arms of his first love, his mother.
As we mourn our loss of Joe he would want you to say a prayer in his honor, have some carnations on your dining room table and enjoy a good meal. He is enjoying a walk through the streets of Heaven greeting his family and friends that have been awaiting his arrival.
At Joe’s request, services were private. Burial took place at the United Lebanese Cemetery in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
