Lori Sue Nelson Walker, 45, of Sylvester passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Phoebe Worth Medical Center in Sylvester. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. John Thomas officiating. Ms. Walker will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 6, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ryan Gay, Rusty Hanson, Jacob Hanson, William Nelson, Terry Nelson and Clay Jackson will serve as pallbearers.
Born October 15, 1973 in Anchorage, Alaska, Ms. Walker was the daughter of Sylvia Hanson Nelson of Sylvester and the late Gregory Phelps Nelson. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Walker is survived by two sons, Michael McKinney and Eric Walker, both of Sylvester; one daughter, Courtney McKinney Gay of Moultrie; two brothers, William Nelson of Sylvester and Terry Nelson of Snellville; and one granddaughter, Madilyn Gay.
