Bernard, Robert “Bob” J. (76) Of West Roxbury/Roslindale
Passed away peacefully with his wife and son by his side. He leaves behind his wife Barbara (Davis), sons Benjamin and Shawn and his daughter-in-law Denise Canty-Turilli. He is preceded in death by his beloved son Joseph Turilli and wife Hilary (Forman). He will be missed by grandchildren Shawn, Tianna, Nicholas, Matthew, great granddaughter Isabella, many nieces, nephews and siblings-in-law.
Visiting hours in The Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Saturday December 8, from 12 noon until 2:00 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will be private.
Bob was a much beloved part of the Holy Name, Boston Latin and Philbrick school communities where he served on boards, as a Cub Scouts leader and as a volunteer in many capacities. In his decades as a woodworker, he created beautiful pieces for his friends, family and community. His years of serving others as a respiratory therapist at Huntington General and as an EMT will never be forgotten. Bob made friends wherever he went and will always be remembered a warm and selfless person. In lieu of flowers, donations to a college fund for Bob’s grandchildren may be made to this Education Fund in his memory.
