Kevin J. Belanger, 48, of Hopedale passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at The Ledges in Hopedale.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 3, 1970, he was the son of Louise (Soares) Belanger of St. Paris, Ohio and the late Austin A. Belanger.
Kevin grew up n Medway and attended Medway schools. He resided in Medway until moving to The Ledges 8 years ago.
While living at The Ledges, Kevin greatly enjoyed the fellowship of his many loving friends and caregivers, as well as the companionship of his dedicated and caring mother. He found pleasure in listening to classic rock music, attending concerts in the park, interacting with animals, listening to his favorite books, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
During his time at The Ledges, Kevin exhibited a warm personality, gentle disposition, and unyielding perseverance each and every day. Although he did not communicate verbally, Kevin found a way to form meaningful relationships and change the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Besides his mother, Kevin is survived by his brother Austin Belanger and his wife Karen of Yuma, Arizona, his sister Rene Belanger of St. Paris, Ohio, his niece Miranda Johnson and four nephews Christopher, James, Kevin and Ian Belanger.
He is also survived by his aunt Eduarda Bianco of Windsor, Connecticut and two cousins, Lisa Gambrino and Joey Bianco.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway on Monday, December 3 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway.
