Obituary


LIMERICK– Nathalie A. Craig, 87, passed away in Denver, CO on November 28, 2018. She was born in Limerick, Maine on November 11, 1931 a daughter of Daniel and Clara (Kallock) Chadbourne and was a graduate of Limerick High School. She married Elden P. Craig on September 3, 1949 in the Limerick Congregational Church.

She was a cashier at Shaw's for a short while and a teller at People's Bank. An accomplished writer, she published a book on Knit Toys and being an avid quilter, created many wall hangings and quilts through the years. She loved knitting and spending time with her family and friends. Nathalie was part of the Women's Auxiliary for many years as well as the Casco Bay Quilters.

She is predeceased by her husband Elden P. Craig, and 2 sisters Esther Gochie and Rebecca Temple. Surviving is her brother Malcolm Chadbourne of Suffield, CT, her 2 sons and their wives, Dean and Elizabeth Craig of Leesburg, FL, and Alan and Pinya Craig of Denver, CO. 2 grandchildren, Christine and her husband Michael Scandurra of Westbrook, ME, and Daniel Craig of Orlando, FL. 1 great-grandchild, Tristan Scandurra of Westbrook, ME, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held June 1st at 11 a.m. at the Limerick Congregational Church, 46 Main St., Limerick, Maine. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery Annex in Limerick.
