Walter E. Delory, age 63, a longtime resident of Weymouth, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. He was born in Quincy and grew up in Braintree before moving to Weymouth and served his country in the Air Force.
Walter was the loving father of Matthew Delory of Quincy and Jessica Strungis and her husband Mark of Braintree and the devoted grandfather of Lianna Cobb and Tyler Strungis both of Braintree. He was the brother of Linda Starck and her husband Michael of Quincy, Debra Emery and her late husband John of Weymouth, Jody Lynn Marchant and her husband Phillip, Paula Connors of Plymouth and the late Dianne Cinquegrano and was loved by all his nieces and nephews. Walter was the former husband of the late Rebecca (Jackson) Delory.
Funeral services for Walter are at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Friday, November 30 at 10 AM with reception to follow at the Weymouth Eagles, 1338 Washington St. Weymouth, MA at 12 PM.
Funeral Arrangements for Walter are in the care of C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located in Weymouth.
