Newfield, ME - Albert T Collins, age 76, died on November 25, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME after an extensive battle with cancer.
He was born in Bangor, ME on November 21, 1942, a son of the late Meldon and Muriel (Robinson) Collins.
He graduated from Lynn Trade School, Lynn, MA and went on to work for General Electric as a machinist for 33 years and retired in November 1997.
He enjoyed music and was the rhythm guitar player in a band called the “Dalmingos “ in his younger years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed woodworking and antique cars.
He married Christine Boudreau of Gardner, MA in 1993 and eventually moved to Maine.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Debra Oliverio.
Al is survived by his beloved wife - Christine (Boudreau), his brothers Kerby Porter-Elliott of Peterborough, NH, and Billy Elliott of Salem, MA. His children - Lisa White and her husband Glenn of Peabody, MA, Michelle Collins of Newton NH, and Joe Collins of Salem, MA; 5 grandchildren – Heather, Chad, Joey, Kellie and Haley; and 1 great granddaughter Riley Brooke.
