Jean (DiDonato) Harris a longtime Needham resident died on Friday December 16th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. She was 82 years old. Born in Newton, Mrs. Harris was a graduate of Newton High School. She worked for many years as a cafeteria worker at Needham High School. The beloved wife of the late Robert D. “Bob” Harris, she was the dear mother of Cheryl A. Reynolds of Framingham and Robert D. Harris Jr. and his wife Lanis of Maynard. Sister of Paul and Libby DiDonato both of Newton and the late Ann Kanda, Rae Perry, Fi Kennedy and Nick DiDonato. Loving Nana of 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue, Needham, on Tuesday December 20th at 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Monday from 3-7 PM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery in Needham.
