Russell W. Conway, Sr., 62, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Sandra L. (Sinkis) Conway, a son, Russell W. Conway, Jr. and his wife Christine M. Conway of Holden, two daughters; Tara L. Bachand and her husband Andrew of Wales, and Alyssa A. Conway and his son- in- law Brad Charbonneau of Southbridge, five grandchildren; Hailey, Hayden, Elizabeth, Austin and Owen, two brothers; Richard Conway and his wife Donna of Harmony, Fl., and Ronald Conway and his wife Darlene of Dudley, two sisters; Cheryl wife of James Weagle of Warren and Carol wife of Frank Gilman of Sturbridge, three aunts and one uncle, many nieces and nephews, also his grand pups and other furry friends; Jared, Sig, Spunky and Peanut butter cup.
Russ was born in Worcester, March 29, 1956 a son of the late Wilfred W. and Norma M. (Caplette) Conway and has lived in Charlton for 28 years.
He graduated from Oxford High School, enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, watching movies, especially westerns , Disney animation movies and comedies. Russ also liked collecting coins, pennies were one of hs favorites.
Most of all, he enjoyed being with family, friends and his grandchildren and enjoyed cookouts .
He worked for many years at Imperial Distributors in Auburn and retired 2 years ago.
