CORNISH- Peter E Humphrey, 78, passed away on November 22, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after many years of battling cancer at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.

He loved baseball and coached Babe Ruth teams for several years. He loved watching the Red Sox and the Patriots, but his true love was watching his children and grandchildren play whatever sport was in season. He was a true family man and always put everyone else’s needs before his own. Recently he was asked what accomplishment he was most proud of in his life, he replied “my family”. He loved working in his garden, feeding the birds and was always happy to see the orioles and humming birds return each spring. Peter loved long rides through the mountains and to the ocean with a special fondness of Fort Williams and enjoyed picnics along the way. He had the best sense of humor and his dry wit will be missed.
