Walter A. Oberle, a longtime resident of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly, November 16, 2018, at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. He was 93 years of age. Once married Walter and Connie settled in Woburn where together they raised their family. Walter worked for many years as a salesperson in the Janitorial supply industry. Walter was a man strong in his faith and for many years was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer here in Woburn. In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing and working around his home and in his garden. Walter will fondly be remembered for his devotion to his family and will be truly missed by those he loved.

In addition to his beloved wife, Connie, Walter is survived by his daughters, Dianne Oberle of Reading, Karen Doherty and her husband Jim of Reading. He is sadly predeceased by his son the late Mark Addison Oberle. He was the loving grandfather of Nicole and Collin Doherty, both of Reading and brother of the late Frances Thurman.
