Alice (Telge) Auclair
Manchester– Alice (Telge) Auclair, 97, died November 19, 2018 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on February 21, 1921 the daughter of Saleemy (Attalla) and Joseph Telge.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Alphonse Auclair.
Alice attended Bakersville Elementary and Central High School.
She worked at Grenier Field as well as multiple government agencies including the Veterans Administration. Her job titles included telephone operator and procurement officer.
She enjoyed cooking and visits to the racetrack.
She was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of the Cedars Church.
There are no calling hours.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 10 am in Our Lady of the Cedars Church. Committal prayers will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude to her caretakers, Patty and Norlina as well as the staff at St. Teresa’s Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.
