Obituary

Phyllis (Ciampa) Montuori, of Malden, formerly of Medford, passed away Monday, November 19th. She was 86. Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and raised in Boston's North End. She was the daughter of the late Phil and Teresa (Paola) Ciampa.

Phyllis was a beautiful woman inside and out. She always had a positive outlook on life, and would never let anything get in her way of succeeding. Phyllis took great pride in her appearance. She was a natural fashionista and her wardrobe was full of beautiful clothing, shoes and accessories, she always looked amazing. She loved spending time on the beach; frequent trips to Las Vegas; her most memorable trip was to Italy. Phyllis enjoyed working in the cafeteria at the Medford High School for many years, up to her retirement.

Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late Anthony "Frankie" R. Montuori. She was the devoted mother of Donna Downes of Portsmouth, NH. Loving grandmother of Alyssa Kelley and her husband Brian of Wakefield. Dear sister of Rosemarie Sevelitte, Lorraine Naimo, and Barbara D'Agostino. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, on Friday, November 23rd at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family in church one hour prior to mass. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove
