She loved meeting 30people and learning about culture and tradition. She loved animals too. She was very proud of her Polish background and loved to attend Polish events and loved Polish polka music. When she was younger she was also part of the Polish Krakowanki She was deeply religious and always dropped into a church on her outings to say a prayer and light a candle for someone. When she was a kid, Mary, attended daily Mass with her brother and sister. She was very active at the Senior Center at Arch Street. She traveled far to visit friends who were in a hospital. And if you told her someone was sick..”I’ll say a prayer for him/her or I will light a candle”. She attended services at her beloved church Our Lady of Czestochowa in Southie she went to the English Mass and then the Polish Mass on Sundays. She loved to see all the kids dressed up.
